CharityScribe Terms of Service — Effective August 18, 2025.

Welcome to CharityScribe. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our AI-powered fundraising platform (“Service”). By subscribing, accessing, or using CharityScribe, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. “We,” “us,” or “our” refers to CharityScribe. “You” or “Customer” refers to the individual or nonprofit organization subscribing to the Service. “Authorized Users” are individuals within your organization whom you permit to use the Service. “Subscription Fees” are the recurring charges for access. “Service” includes all AI copilots, grant generators, prospecting tools, calendars, updates, and associated features. CharityScribe grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service during your paid subscription term for internal nonprofit purposes only. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under your credentials. Subscription plans are billed in advance and renew automatically. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. CharityScribe reserves the right to adjust pricing with advance notice. You may not reverse-engineer, replicate, or misuse the Service. You retain full ownership of your content (“Your Data”). We may use anonymized, aggregated data for system improvement. Please review our Privacy Policy for data handling practices. CharityScribe will provide system support and maintenance, and may schedule downtime with notice. While we aim for reliability, no uptime guarantee is offered unless outlined in a separate SLA. Either party may terminate for material breach. We may also suspend or terminate access due to misuse or non-payment. Upon termination, your access is revoked and we recommend exporting essential data in advance. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability or fitness. CharityScribe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the Subscription Fees you paid in the previous 12 months. You agree to indemnify and hold CharityScribe harmless from claims arising out of your misuse or breach. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert Jurisdiction], and any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts there. These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, represent the full agreement between you and CharityScribe. You may not assign your rights without our written permission. If any section is deemed invalid, the rest will remain in effect. By using CharityScribe, you acknowledge and accept these Terms.
